| Yamaha built what i see as a bad resale item the MT-01 it looks cool but i haven't seen many on the road, why is that ,are they like fat chicks only fun to ride when nobody see's you ,or are they just a lemon, a dealer in collingwood has a brand new 2006 and has dropped the price to 9999.00 and it still sits there are they a piece or good bike that is my question |

| First, I believe that Yamaha only sells the MT-01 in Europe and not in the USA. If there are a few in the USA, they've been shipped from Europe here. Most folks here in the US don't know much about the MT-01, so I imagine interest isn't very high right now. It's sure one cool bike though..a sport bike with the 1670cc big twin Warrior power plant with massive torque, e.g., great launching power if you can keep the front wheel on the ground. I remember Goose liking the bike, if I remember right.
If enough interest in the MT-01 was here in the USA, Yamaha would bring the bike here like they did my FJR1300 sport tourer a few years ago. |
