A while back my dad went out and bought me a banjo for some unknown reason (senior dementia, story for another day). Since I've never had an interest in playing the banjo it has sat for a couple of years in the case. So I thought I'd see if anyone here plays or has an interest in a brand new instrument. I think it looks pretty much like this.
It is a Deering Goodtime 2 with the resonator back.
Also came with a padded Deering gig bag.
It has never been played but some of the hardware may need a polish since it has sat for a couple years. I don't know anything about banjos but here is the website for Deering who makes these. It is the second one from the left.
