I've always ran 2 into 1 pipes from V&H, and been very happy with the results. Ride Safe, David

V&H seems to get the most thumbs-up in pipe talk. Fit/finish/performance all seem to be top notch. I like the double wall concept that Hard Chrome has and started to get a set. I tried to call and e-mail them to confirm which set for my bike and couldn't get a response from them... kinda made me feel that they weren't interested in selling their product.

Back in the late nineties, we actually stopped selling their stuff and hung a page explaining why. In 2000 or 2001 we were asked to please, please sell them again and they would promise to support the customers. Well, it worked for a while but, once again it is back to their stance of we build it, you deal with it. If you to ask our opinion on the rankings for customer support, quality, fit and finish on the most popular brands we would rank them as follows:
1. Vance and Hines in all categories
2. Bub / Rinehart
3. Cobra
4. D&D
5. Bassani (would be higher but no real quantity to go on)
6. Hooker

999. Thunderheader (Fit is still good but finish is slipping and customer support died with Jim JR.)
1000. Samson We would not even sell Samson if it were not for the fact that we have a special arrangement with CCI.
99999. Hard Khrome or Hard Krap as it has been called by some. In our opinion, when the owner of a company reneges on an agreement made at his request there is something wrong here.
