[97 dyna]

Hi, i put a set of short shots on my 1997 dyna after having a thunder header on for many years. I thought i would lose some performance but unfortunately i lost alot of power. Is that normal for this pipe or should i look at something else.

2-1's really work well, and if your bike was tuned for the thunderheader you'd need to setup the carb for the new pipes.

You probably lost some low to mid range punch where a 2-1 excels.
