I am going to install some beach bars on the RK and want to install coated SS brake lines ,1 for the improved braking and also for the looks. It looks like i am going to need about 6" over stock lenght. I saw HD had a longer brake line kit available, but it doesn't say anything about being coated, so it looks like i need to shop from the aftermarket. I have seen some lines w/ a very finely polished SS that looked great. Can anyone recommend a maker that works/fit well and looks good also.
Also ,am i going to have to extend the clutch and throttle cables too? If so i guess it is time for SS cables also.
Thanks in advance.

When I purchased my 2004 RK Classic I had the dealer take off the stock bars and had them put on beach bars. They had to use 6 inches extra length for the idle/throttle and clutch, (stainless steel). Now these cables came with plastic coating on them. I would go to the dealership and ask them about the type of cables they use. Also I wish that I would have had them put all the wires on the inside of the bars, since I forgot to tell them, I'm going to make it one of those winter projects. Ride Safe, David.
