| Two options, one close the petcock and remove the brass plug (5/8") from the bottom of the fuel bowl and let the fuel drain into a cup. Then open the petcock and let it flush the needle and seat. Reinstall the plug and see if it overflows again. If it does, you will need to remove the float bowl and clean the needle seat, check for debris and a leaky float and set float height. Make sure you get the bowl gasket or a rebuld kit first.
Check and clean your petcock filter and if there is a lot of debris consider installing an inline fuel filter.
