I need to get the electrical wire out of the chrome rear turn signals on my 2004 fatboy. How do I do it with out destroying the light? I have the brackets removed from the bike and unplugged from the taillight.

Thanks for any help with this.

If you are trying to get the wires through the rear mount, you can remove the deusch connector, Inside that connector are small plastic tabs that you lift with a tiny flat blade screwdriver like you'd use on glasses.

Be careful and don't pull hard and break it, if you have the retaining clip up the wire will pull out easily.

It can take some patience and practice.

If you have the SM it shows how all the connectors come apart.
