Can anybody offer advice on how to connect a standard set of ear buds to a 2004 HD Ultra headset jack? I want to have a headset that I can use with a half helmet, and earbuds seem to be the only way to pull that off. However, the plug in on top of the fuel tank takes a specialized plug found only on the end of a Harley headset. And a HD headset only works with a full or 3/4 helmet. I don't care about the CB. Is there an adapter anybody is aware of?
i would check radio shack or crutchfield. if not, try your local radio/ tv repair shop or a place that installes stereos, they can probably rewire your headset to fit the one on the bike....
