| Am I the only one who has had the "factory" oil pressure gage crap out on them and leak the glycerine, or what ever it is, thru a crack in the clear PLASTIC , cover on the engine. I thought maybe I just got a lemon the first time around but I'm on my third one. It is a great looking gage with the HD emblem on the face but the SOB leaks. They are still selling them at HD dealers. Cant they find a better supplier of gages. Any ideas on where to get a decent looking gage that actually works? |

| The Kit Has All The Hardware To Replace The Tappet Screen Screw. Then You Screw The Gage Into It. Works Fine Until The Clear Plastic Bezel Cracks And Oozes The Gunnkk All Over. Can't Believe They Are Still Selling Those Things. They Are Junk. Maybe Its Because Sapps Like Me Keep Going Back And Buying Another One. Later. |

| the cause of the break is vibration......if you eliminate the vibration, the bezel should hold. an engineer designed it on paper, and it works, but as we all know, a lot of their designs dont work in the field. i would see about isolating the gauge from the vibrations.......good luck

| I Found An Old Air Pressure Gage Thats Been In The Bottom Drawer Of My Tool Box Forever. Works Ok But Spans From 0-120 Psi. Needle Doesn't Move Very Far But At Least Its A Gage That Doesn't Leak. It Just Looks Cheap. Sometimes The Low-dollar Stuff Works Best. Thanks. |
