| I am thinking about putting screaming Eagle slip-ons on my 2004 Fatboy. Anyone have any first hand knowledge about how much louder they are than stock. I am not looking for straight pipe loud, just a nice sound upgrade from the stock mufflers- Thanks-

| There were two flavors of SE slip ons. Some that were as loud as any aftermarket because they were and the SEII (made by V&H) which are a lot quieter. The SEII are like a step between stock and aftermarket. |

| These are the older style that have "Screaming Eagle II" scripted on them rather the newer style that has "Harley Davidson" scripted on them. Can you tell which is which? |

| Yeah, look in the end. If you can see almost all the way through the baffle it is the early version and is as loud as aftermarket. If it looks like there is a cap or plate in the baffle it is the later SEII. |
