As far as I know, they can get the OE map and flash it back. Give H-D customer service a call.

Yes you can, dealers with a dyno machine "should" have the factory OE mapping... You should of bought a Power Commander III, it keeps your ECU stock in case you want to go back to OEM standards.

Huh?! What does having a dyno have to do with a scanalyzer?

If you are referring to the SERT, then all you need is a computer and you can reset the MAP to stock. Or, you could buy the SERT and install / flash the correct MAP in the ECM.

I believe he is referring to an ECM that has been flashed with a scanalyzer to Stage I or II etc and desires to return to stock mapping for some reason. A Power Commander will provide the tuning he would need in most cases.

CD, I'm referring to the Harley dealerships that has the flash programs for stage 1, 2, etc... even stock. Yes, it is a SERT Screamin Eagle Race Tuner! Most HD dealerships that have dyno's has this ability... If you want some shop to do a race tuner download without a dyno run then by all means, go ahead... If I'm going to spend that kind of money on a tuner, I want a dyno run to get it just right... As you know, most flash programs sometimes work and sometimes don't... Are you familiar with GIAC??? Well, Garrett and I took 1 month to dial in my S/C car... on a dyno.

I do not believe he is referring to the SERT in this case and yes I am fully aware of what a dyno can do with the SERT or a PCIIIUSB or a Techlusion or S&S VFI etc. Being that I own a dyno, I am pretty sure what I can use it for...

Original post "anyone know if I can go from SE STAGE I back to factory settings on EFI ...called up 2 dealers...one says yes other says no.."

From his original post, I do not see where he is referring to a SERT but is referring to a regular Stage flash using the Scanalyzer.

Since the stock and Stage X MAP's have no variables to adjust during insallation with a scanalyzer, there should be no issues with corrupt data.

I see you point... I would believe that most (if not all) Harley Dealerships should have the OEM mapping for their products? I just went to the extent that if he was told "no" from one HD dealer, then going to one that had a dyno "should" have available the OEM flash... In any course, I'm just glad that I bought the PCIIIusb instead of re-writing the OEM ECU. How much did you pay for your dyno? Business must be good thanks for the great prices btw.
