| Anybody know anything about why my bike (93 Ultra Classic) won't start or even attempt to since I laid it down christmas week. I got up, picked it up and it wouldn't start. I tried to checkout the starter solenoid yesterday by connecting my truck battery to frame and positive on starter, I got nothing not even a click. gonna try to take it off now and see what I can see. Oh and one more thing all electronics work, except for my spots don't know if it's the lights or the switch, thanks Marcus |

| Not sure if your model has it, but if it does you have to reset the bank angle sensor. |

| i would check the bank sensor also......it automaticly shuts the bike off if tipped more than 45 degrees i believe.....similar to the fuel pump shutoff on newer autos......the spots may be in this circuit also.....not sure

| Your bike should not have a bank angle sensor. Is it possible that the starter may have been engaged when the bike went down button pushed in the fall or something and may be locked up. If so the primary will have to be pulled to check the starter drive or to remove the starter??? Dutch |

| the cost for painting is dependent on what type of paint, design, and detail you would want. a basic would probably start at around 1000 dollars and go from there.......

| I am trying to decipher your original post a little. Do you mean that the bike will not start but spins over? Or, that it will not turn over at all? What side was the impact on? How bad? Did it damage the switch housings? |

| Good point CD,
besides cosmetics what was damaged,
Check housings could have turned and cut wires inside, I'd open them up and look and use a meter to check for voltage.
Check the battery see if it has voltage then run all the tests from there on the starting circuit. |

| How's the weather there? Grew up in Meriden (now live in Seattle) and ocasionally miss it (although not the middle of summer). My brother still lives (and rides) there, rented a bike the last time I was there (3 years ago) and found some of the best roads ever.
