I have a 02 Softail that I bought with the "Screamin "Eagle Pipes on it. I just put on the SE Air Cleaner set up and am going to get some V$H Big shots.

I was told that it had the Stage 1 ECU Flash allready done when I bought it, for the pipes. But I am not sure.

Is there a way to tell with out a scanner?

Will I do any damage driving it to the dealer to have it checked with the SE air cleaner installed. They are about 70 miles away. I know if it has not been done it will be running lean, but by how much and will I notice any considerable change?

i think it moves your rev limit from 5800 to 6250. but not positive of that.

All of the new PCIII-USB can now alter the rev limiter. All PCIII-USB can have a firmware upgrade done also. We will do it for $20.00 same as Dyno Jet does.

You no longer need to install a Stage I flash to get the higher RPM limit.

what is a firmware up grade? i have the pc III usb i got from DP. is it possible to tell if he has a stage 1 flash by the rev limit?
