HD windshield are one piece with the mounting hardware (cross bars and supports) being bolted through it. So if the crack is annoying you; you'll have to replace it. I believe that you can purchase the windshield separate from the mounting hardware (saving a few $$$).
When removing the windshield from the cross bar; the cross bar has double sided stick tape on it to hold the bar in place when the bolts are removed. Be careful of the cross bar after removing it from the old windshield you don't want debris to get stuck to the tape.
