im looking to take off my stock turn signals,from my dyna, and putting on mini bullets. i did find some but they are using only one wire,while my stock one uses two. what would be the proper way to do the install? |

| More than likely, when you mount the unit(s), they'll be grounded. You can then eliminate the stock ground wire.
One thing you will need to consider is that with many of the smaller lights, you will need a Load Equalizer. It's a small electronic box that you have to wire in with the new lights or otherwise they won't flash, but rather just burn dim and steady (no blink).
You'll be able to find a load equalizer in the Direct Parts web-site. Sam usually handles this stuff. | |

| The bulllet lights I put on mine were dual element bulbs hence 2 wires. Your maybe the same. | |

I have seen one while we were cruizin down pacicfic coast hwy. His two signal lights which were change to bright red will blink 3x when he accelerate and will go back to normal red bright stop. And if he brakes it is really bright. Where could I find those Signal Lights Or maybe Bullet lights you guys are talking about. I was really impressed with his lights and I want it on my bike too. Any suggestions? Are they LED lights? Thanks | |

those type of lights have a special controller with them. i believe cd has them. they will controll single filliment bulbs to act like dual filliment. i have seen them in some of the catalogs i recieve on a daily basis........sheesh, ya buy one t shirt out of a catalog, next thing ya know, your mailbox is full of catalogs.......

| Kuryakyn makes a run brake controller. Badlands has units also. Using a single element bulb will only allow you to have either a running light or turn signal unless you utilize one of the above. But, 99.9% of the time, the same style is available in single or dual element.
