I have a 97 softtail custom. About half the time I start it the starter sounds like it is either grinding or not completely engaging. Sounds like hell and I know something nots right. Help!
Thanks for the help. One more question. Is it possible to replace the ring gear and pinion gear without having to rebuild everything? Or am I better off rebuilding the whole thing?
