| I am adding SE II slip on's to my 06 883c this weekend. Along with a rejet which will be done by a qualified wrench, can any recommend a new (not to expensive) air box. Might as well only rejet once. |

| Not sure with the sportster, but I know most high flow kits will cost around $120-$160 for the twin cam models. Most are similar (use K&N style filter) and have a new back plate.
Again I am not sure if this will apply to you, but Arlen Ness Big Sucker and the SE kits seemed to be the most popular. I think S&S makes one also, and K&N is supposed to release thier own brand this year. I don't think you would go wrong with any of these names.
Good Luck,

| Go with the SE Kit right from Harley. By far the best and most complete kit out there IMHO |

| Hd's new kit comes with a paper filter, no oil, it doesn't say it is washable like a K&N, and it's not a K&N filter. So the HD SE kit may lead to further expense for new filters.
Arlen Ness kit is just as complete as HD's and has a washable filter.
You can also get straight from K&N a new kit with backing plate, etc that will outflow anything up to Woods/Zippers 3.5 inch tall filters. It has a much larger area so if you are planning cams, heads, pistons etc down the road, the K&N kit would be best, it's narrow and fits tight so you don't kick you leg way out. |
