Main shaft seal

I have a leaky tranny can anyone tell me if i can change it with out pulling the trans. Im going to change the primary. After I pull the inner primary and take the pully off the trans.can I just use a seal puller and pop the old seal out and drive the new one in? looked in service manual? No answer...........

Yes. You can pry it out and use a seal installer like the Jim's 2346 or 95660-85 call Sam at 800-368-6217 for details. He'll need to know the year of the tranny.

Check the trans overflow tube make sure it's not coming out of it, right there in the same area, if you overfill this can happen.
