does anyone know if i can put 2001 road king rims on my 2005 road king .i have been getting yes and no answers.the bearings on the 01 are 1".
if anyone has any idea its appreciated.

As long as your axle diameter is the same, you should be alright. One thing you may need to consider is the hub width in comparison to your original one. If they differ, you will either need to buy a new set of axle spacers, or cut your own in accordance to the space between the hub and the swingarm.

thanks bikerjim1...im thinking if the hubs wider, then belt alignment will also be affected.im going to have to research this further.

You may have to cut your own spacers but that's not that difficult, just need to measure twice and cut once.

A simple way to check is to call an HD dealer and see if the spacers for the two bikes use the same part number, then all you need to see is if the width of the hub is the same, and you're in.
