I have a set of V & H straight shots. I rejetted the carb when I installed them. About a week ago I took out the baffles within them. I have not had any noticeble difference did have the bike back fire one time. Should I rejett again or not worry about it?

Respects to ALL

Stick the baffles back in, you're killing your lower end tq numbers, the pipes are better than stock but not the best in performance, Long shots are worse, Yeah they sound cool to you on the bike but they piss off every motorist around you, and anyone that rides with you can't stand them either. (I know I used to do that on bike night with my long shots just to be obnoxious with the kids and the jap monkey frigger bikes doing burnouts LOL)

Really you are hurting your bikes performance you may even have less power than stock without the baffles in the pipes.

if have not already re-jetted watch out for the little silver piece of metal that may fall out when you remove the main je(for the life of me it name has slipped my mind right now)..the needle jet sets in the end of it. It will go in both ways but only one is right. Take a look at the carb through the air inlet and you will see it and remember/mark how much is sticking up through the carb..Make since? if you get it wrong you'll know!!!
