| HD will have a flash for the ECM. However I would recommend a PCIII, because after the flash you will still probably be too lean. EPA restrictions are hard on performance. Check around, several vendors of teh PC11 will program it for your modifications and send it ready to install. It will not be perfect, but it's a drastic improvement over the SE flash. |

| The new ECM flash from Harley will cover the factory SE 103 upgrade, and the motor company recently released a flash to cover their SE slipon mufflers and screamin' eagle intake.
Power Commander is really the way to go IMO, and not just on Harley's. I know guys running these on Yamaha and other EFI motorcycles and they all swear by them. What I like about the PCIII is not only do they have a wide variety of maps available, but you can tweak the basic fuel and timing settings right on the device. Plus there are always custom maps coming out.
I can't speak for your dealer, but I know the techs at my local Harley dealership are installing power commanders on new 07 motorcycles without sweatin people about warranties and EPA crap. They probably wouldn't want that advertised so I won't mention their name. If a dealership wants your business they will keep you happy, otherwise go find an independent shop or do it yourself... plenty of people here who can help you through it. |
