| Screaming eagle mufflers I had someone at the stealer today tell me that the NEW screaming ealge slip ons were "obsolete"....when I gave him the funny look he told me that they are still stage 1, still give the nice low rumble (lower then stock), but are now nearly stock volume....... guy recommended Rush slip ons...... anyone have any thoughts/feelings about this??!! I currently run Sampson rolled thunder, but am thinking about something a bit quieter.... want to keep the nice low rumble.....

| if you are not looking for noise, but want some low end torque, try a set of trapps....the are adjustable for different configurations. the discs are removable and reinstallable. they have a bit of a rumble to them, but not real earsplitting loud....that is what i am going to install on my glide....

| A guy at work just bought an Ultra with those Rush mufflers and a 103" stroker Lotsa power...
The pipes look real good, I don't think I've heard the bike yet though.
I didn't ask him, is that the brand name, Rush?

| V&H Ovals My ride is an 06 Ultra. I went with the V&H Ovals, Fuelpak, & SE High flow air cleaner. Great sound & performance. Improved the mileage too. Just added the V&H Duals. (Main reason was to get rid of the heat from the crossover, which it does.) V&H tech said that the Ovals & Duals are their best performing combination. V&H claims at least a 5 -7 HP increase over stock. Sound is louder than stock, but moderate. Try to find someone who has them and take a listen.
