| "I took it for a short ride this morning and it still seems to feel the same way. Like it wants to stall with the clutch engaged when I'm coming to a stop"
you should disengage the clutch, i hope this is a misprint....
give it a week, and if it is still acting up, the installer is going to have to tweek the system some.....by waiting a week, this will give you a chance to get used to the mods.....then start complaining..... |

I had to feather the throttle to keep it going. | Does the idle stabilize or does it continue to stumble without help from the throttle? Might be your mapping. |

| The idle does stabilize. It's like it comes back up to the set idle speed after I get stopped and/or put it in neutral.
We had it hooked up the computer with the Powercommader this morning. The map I'm using seems to be just fine, although, we did cut the fuel down a tad.
I really didn't get a chance to ride that much today. It's ****ty and cold here, 45 degrees and windy (yes, I live in hell). I'll put some miles on it this weekend and see how it goes. It does seem to be better, but I haven't had a chance to really warm it up, as in a 30 mile ride or so. |

| I just got off the phone with Dynojet. They gave me the closest map they think will work. So, I call the shop and talked to the guy that mapped my Powercommander. He doesn't remember what map he used, even after I told him the map/setup that Dynojet recommended. Looks like this may be the stalling problem I'm having. So, I'm going to remap it myself tomorrow.
Bottomline is: No one gives a rats ash about your bike, but you. Most shops have the attitude of "good enough......next...." |

| Unfortunately Crisco, you're right. Nobody gives a sh*t about your bike but you. It's all about the $$. I'm sure there are shops out there that care but not like you do, that's for sure. Good luck with the remap. |

It's the same as the Dynojet recommendation.
I rode quite a bit this weekend, everything seems kind of ok. It still acts like it wants to die when it's warmed up and I let off the throttle completely. It doesn't, but it came close a couple of times. I didn't help it by feathering the trottle this time, I just let it go to see if it would stall. Like I said, it didn't, but it came close. Any thoughts out there?
I'm going to get it Dyno tuned when I get a chance. |
