i've been trying some different octane boosters and finding that my 1450 seems to like them. seems it runs a little better. anyone have any experience with additives? good or bad. would really be interested to hear what other are doing in this area. or how about oil additives? never real hear much on this subject when it comes to bikes

If your running AMSOIL, you don't need anything else!! As far as octane boosters, never use em. If your running a good premium octane gas and your engine is well tuned, your all set.

appreciate the input. thinking that for the most part octane boosters are a waste of money. and i use amsoil since the bike was born so i'll best leave well enough alone. also can't help but think gas additives could screw up reading the plugs. one additve i strongly recommend is the alcohol based gas drier great to carry on the bike in case you get some water, especially with efi
