Hi All, I ordered the factory service manual for the 2007 bonneville black. The dealer sent me the service manual for the 2006 bonneville black. Its price is 90 dollars. I called him and said this is the wrong manual. The 2006 bonnie is 790cc or 760 anyway the 07 bonnie is 865 cc. He said the only difference in the specs is the bore. Well isn't it important to have the correct bore specs for my bike? I tried to call triumph their main office and left a message and got no respose its been a week. I'm thinkin to just send the manual back. then to pay that much money even if its just one specification off for that kind of money it should all be correct and may be needed some day. And it isn't very good customer service of triumph. any advice. are specs for the bore of the bike important . is it a common repair? needed. thanks fireitup

my opinion is, it really doesnt matter whether the bore is important or not...you ordered one thing and got another.....that is not good busisness.....get the correct manual.....they should exchange it for you...kinda like ording a jack and water and they give you a scotch and water, tellin ya it has the same alchohol in it....wouldnt stand for that....

Hi, I will send it back. Thanks. It was pretty seedy of "Ed's " in Hyde Park, NY to do that. I have been looking on line for the 2007 manual for the bonnie and there isn't one yet. I guess. I let the rice burner go. It took the guy over three months to get parts for the carbs and he said there are all sorts of problems with it further. So he gave me more than half my money back. I got the Bonneville black 2007. I love it. Its goes like a bullet. So far its running good no problems almost two thousand miles on it. Have been working so much have no time to ride like i want. I am a working fool. Thank you again for the advice. Fireitup

So the only change in the bike is the bore of the cylinders? If the motorcycle is the same otherwise, what difference does that one little upgrade specification have do do with the manual for the rest of the machine, maintenance wise?

my 2 cents is it is principle.....ya start lettin things slip and instead of getting what you want you settle for what you can get, well that just aint right. and besides, im not gonna believe some burger flippin salesman at a dealer tellin me "specs" on a new bike. add 98 cents and ya got a dollar!!!!

Wonder if Harley provides a different manual for the Screaming Eagle version of a specific motorcycle? ... NOT. If the motorcycle is the same excluding the 'bore', then the service manual is totally fine. Ask for the paste-in spec. page to correct that major problem...! There is no compromise if the manual covers the motorcycle.

My advice is to send the manual back! There will be absolutely no farther confusion about the motorcycle and its specific 'specs'.

Hi, I was gonna settle for this manual only Chuck is right. And To pay 90 dollars for the wrong item and the dealer didn't even tell me as i stood there while he ordered it. He could have given me the option then. He was sleezy about it. I won't bring any warrenty work back to him. Thanks for all the advice. fireituup
