Just remeber you can die at 30 miles an hour and sportsters are known for speed wobble at high speed. You should think about a shock dam- for your front end. Any way you go be safe speed can kill.I have lost a few good friends over the past 33 years .There is a point of no return. And one more thing getting 15 hp can coast $$$. You say only 15 hp but its not as easy as it sounds. Cam and heads and carb is the heart of it all . the top end is where you get power. you can port your heads but do not polish them that is just a old wise tail. The only thing you should polish is the intake

wich is what i was saying.......jmo.... make it quick 0 to 100 mph....the reason i say this....my sportster (piglet) starts to get spooky at about 125 mph, why would i build a bike that does 140 or 150....if i cant take it over 125....plus there is this satisfaction factor of pulling away from your freinds, knowing they cant keep up.......with just the everyday cruising....
nobody in this forum loves speed as much as i do.........wide open is all i have ever known.....(funny thing thats how i live my life as well) even the john deere runs on VP racing fuel!!!
and here is my point, me being the speed junkie i am.....i relize that my HD has it limits.....and anything past those limits.....is life threating..

i will try and find all the parts that they used, when they did my stage II upgrade. i think you would be very happy with this set up......

Built a couple of pretty quick sporties and the most reponsive and streetable engines were also the least expensive to build. A complete top end from a Buell Lightning does the trick. The heads, cyliders, pistons and cams are a direct bolt on and are already a balanced package. You'll get around 85 HP and gobs of torque, but you have to get rid of the drag pipes because there's no back pressure and they only work at WOT. Either a thunder header or Propipe will do the trick. You'll be able to do serious burnouts, wheel stands and whop up on most street bikes but not keep up with a Hyabusa.
