I have an 2003 FLHT caberated bike. When I get to about 100 miles on the tank it will start cough. If I crank back on the throttle it will clear it temporarily. Once I fill up it's goes away. Is there junk in my tank? How do I fix this?

So, when you get to about 100 miles you get a cough? Like as in a lean pop where it just sort of either sneezes out the intake or makes a pop in the exhaust?
If so, I am going to lean toward a low float bowl setting. The lower the float bowl the more it leans out the main jet. Since we are lean to begin with, it make be causing you to go into a lean pop.
You may also have some water in the fuel or the petcock filter may be partially plugged and need servicing. Some gas treatment will help get rid of water and cleaning the filter is pretty simple.
