does you bike have any circuit breakers in the fuse box. something is overloading, shutting off and turning back on.....just like a circuit breaker. kinda like a wire getting hot, seperating, then cooling off and closing up. i hope somebody else chimes in and gets you going....sorry for no help here

Chuck sure does seem on track here. It does sound like CB1 is heating up and opening. It could just be a bad curcuit breaker, or there is a bad connection in the wiring that is drawing extra current to cause it to open. The circuit breaker should be less than $5 and would be a good place to start.

Hello all,

Thanks for all your help....Problem has been solved or actually by-passed......The tilt sensor, I believe, is no good....We disconnected it and the bike runs great...When we tested it in the beginning it tested fine with a meter but I guess that doesn't mean anything...I have a new one on order and the only thing it does by having it unhooked is keep the engine light on...Otherwise the bike runs great..Will be taken it to work tomorrow....Two weeks of screwing around for one stupid sensor......I bought a ICM and cam sensor for no reason, but now I have the extra parts for when they do go..I am able to bring back the coil pack I bought because one of the posts where broken off...Saves me $90....And my tank is clean inside and out supporting a new chrome petcock....Thanks again and Safe riding....

Always nice to get back on the road after fumbling to fix a problem. Glad to hear you're back in the wind.
