I'm trying to find out if a 2004 A motor will fit in a 2000 frame that came with a TC A. I have contacted several shops and received mixed answers. Some tell me only 99 - 01 will fit a 2000 frame. Other's tell me all "A" engines will fit. Please help....

Mario Welcome to the site , I just looked in my 05 book & it say's if you have A Dyna fram & the engine your looking came from A dyna it will fit The engine's are set up for the frame model IE Flht's will only fit the touring frame's & Dyna will only fir the Dyna frames Any softail will not fit those are the B engine hope this helps you

Yes, it will fit. The A motor didn't change until 2006 for the dyna and 2007 for the baggers.
