Oil Tanks

The New Oil Tank That I Was Requierd To Buy Is Differn't From The Stock. The New Tank Has 2 Holes At The Top And 2 At The Bottom. The Stock Tank Has 3 At The Bottom. Wtf! So When I Plug All The Hoses Back In What Do Ya Think I Should Do? Then The Tank Came With 3 Inserts For The Hoses.

I Think I Fingered Out Part Of The Soulution, Two Lines Going To The Front Of The Motor, A In Flow And Out, The Drain Line Has A T In It With A Line Comming From The Ingine, Assuming Thats A Drain Line From The Block, A 2 Into 1. That Gives Me 4 Lines. But Still The ? Is Why 2 At The Top And 2 At The Bottom? Guess I'll Probable Keep It The Same Set Up And Plug A Top Hole. It Seems Amazining That I Would Be The First Person On This Site To Perform A Sportster To Chopper Conversion On This Site.

I can't say for the sporty but a softail has 4 holes

Two top, one is return the other is a vent line from the side of the motor to the oil tank,

One on the bottom is a return to the motor

The other is the drain.
