| off hand does anyone know the diameter on the 04 XL882 C axels , I think I have a good line on some RC Comp wheels , they have the one in axel I want to put them on my Daughter's Sporty , I can't seem to get out the shop & look it up in the book  |

| Even if the wheels had a 1" axle, couldn't you change out the bearings to accommodate the different size? I have done it before on machinery but not on a bike. Just a though... |

| Purty sure they are 3/4 ----- think they went to 1 in. in '06....... got an '04 1200 custom in the shop >> its 3/4...

| haven't looked at my front one yet, but now you raise a ? because I'm getting a new front end for mine and it comes with the axle, doesn't mention anything about size, I wonder if the front axle is a universal deal. guess I'll have to look into that further. |

| sporsterbay that's why I ask as the wheel's I'am looking at are the 1 in axel & I'am not sure about the sporty it 's been a long time since I had a sporty like 1970 & it was a 68 model still had the shifter on the right side |

| Both The Front And Rear On Mine Are 3/4, Hope That Helps. The Front Axles I Think Stay The Same. The Rear Jumps To 1" On The Big Twins. |
