I recently bought a '93 Fatboy that had stock tail/brake light and Alen Ness wisper type signals in the licence plate. The front signals are also Ness blocks hung from the mirrors. It has a Badlands Equalizer under the seat and all worked fine. I replaced the tail/brake light with a diamond shaped LED (red, blue, black wire) and now the brake/tail light flashes with the signals...either side. The back fender is fiberglass.....so I have run the black wires from the tail/brake light and signals to a ground point on the frame near battery. The badlands was wired black to battery and purple and brown to signals..only two wires from this unit plus ground. I have tried independantly grounding the wires, grounding the badlands to frame etc....I have charged the battery fully and tried while attached and charging...but have yet to try with engine running as I have the pipes off, for now...(would it make a difference?) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated....Storm |
