Does anyone know how to remove the molded license plate bracket and keep the tail light in place? The bike is a 06 Springer with the Bobtail fender. I am thinking about buying a frame mounted license plate holder and keep the stock tail light in place.

saws-all you have to take the hole thing off & look where the T light ends & cut the plate mount off from there , gring it smooth & reinstall the T light for the clean look
