CV 44MM Upgrades

I am changing my 2001 Ultra 103" stroker from the MM EFI to a carb system. I bought the SE CV 44MM carb and some upgrade parts. The CVP velocity needle, the Dakota Kid Accelerator pump Pedestal, CVP velocity emulasion tube, High Flow fuel elbow and the idle adjuster screw.

My question is, do I really need the high flow fuel elbow if I'm suppling it with a Golan fuel valve with a 5/16 outlet?

Not sure if putting the 5/16 elbow on would put too much gas to the carb. I am looking for better gas mileage but if the 103" motor is going to suck all the gas out of the float bowl all the time maybe I need it. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Just to add a little to my previous post,

I know the jets and needle regulate the amount of gas I would use, but wondering if the increase in flow ( stock to 5/16 ) would increase the pressue at the jets/needle?

I sure hope this ain't too stupid of a question

I don't think you'll have a problem with the 5/16 fuel lines, all the extras you got except for the idle adjuster screw I don't think is necessary with the CV44. I would run it as is first to see how it goes, then maybe some rejetting and maybe the N65C(88 1200 Sporty) needle jet if necessary. That carb will give you enuf air for your engine you may just need to adjust fuel delivery.
