| also i'm of the opion that this thread is a sales/spam type pitch "johnny L" likely works for that company and is using this forum to sell this product, with all those unsupported lies. he even went so far as to mention a major if not premier MC club Hell's Angels, which was an area i thought we were to avoid on this forum |

| Well I'm glad you like yours and I'm sure it works just fine. I still ain't adding one to my saddle bags though. I don't have enough room in there already. And I still don't want to put anything with gas on or in it in my bags because I just know at some point whatever is in the bags, like cloths, will eventually smell like gas. Gas creeps and at some point that little Vinyl bag will either leak or get gas on the outside of it when putting it back in.
Just for comparison's sake (and maybe comedy's sake):
1) I've learned how to pump gas without without stabbing my bike several times with the pump. My bike is a 99 and all the paint is still there and still shiny. BTW, I don't have dings all over the side of my truck either........at least not from the gas pump. If it can keep me from hitting the toilet when I pee my wife might like one though.
2) I have met several others that use cocaine and everyone says you you will drive 2-3 times faster down the road while your friends without it are..............well driving by watching you get cuffed and stuffed a few miles down the road.
3) I guess I'll give ya that one. I have had the pump click but that happens in my car too. Besides I couldn't think of anything witty or clever. It just comes with topping off.
4) See number 3.
5) Never..........REALLY?.........Not even when the bike stops running and you don't quite know why since you've only gone 120 miles and you know you should have gas since you're getting an extra 40 miles per tank?
6) Never is a strong word. The pump can still drip pulling it out of the tank can't it? There is just a larger target to hit besides the bike.
7) This one is just BS. There is NO WAY I'm getting an extra gallon into my tank just because I used a McCuff to fill up. Full is full my friend. you can only put five gallons in a five gallon pail no matter how you put it in there.
As far as the rest goes, I'm not saying it is a BAD product just that it may not be all it's cracked up to be. Just because a celebrity endorses it doesn't mean it's the best thing since sliced bread. Remember the Thigh Master and the George Forman grill...or for the pool players out there, John Mizerak slip on cue tips?
I'm all for new things. After all I'm sittin here on this giant calculator talkin to folks all over the world. I wasn't doin that before puters. I was filling up my tank, to the top, without spilling and without scratching my paint before McCuff though.
Just my opinion with a little tongue and cheek thrown in.
Peace |

Uh, am I missing something or is this McCuff thing really just an aid to put fuel in your tank? Like that is some big problem? I don't like getting gas on me anymore than most, but I have spilled my share of it on me, my tank, chrome, etc........and guess what? My paint is still on the tank, my chrome is still on the chromied things, and I haven't grown a third ear or burned my eyebrows off (at least not on the bike). And I sure as heck don't think it worth the hassle of pulling that doughnut out of my dainty orange baggy to put gas in my tank every 200 miles or so to save a drop of gas or two from spilling. Really, gas wipes off a whole lot better than the 2 lbs of bugs that splat me between fill-ups.
Yeah, if your showing your bike or really prissy, the McCuff ain't worthless. I'd be willing to bet, though, that most folks who buy one (or get one as a gift) don't use it all that often. So it ain't The Big Whoopdee-Doo worth all the rant, Johnny L. |

| Moderator should delete this post and ban the poster,
It's pure bullshiite spam, and should not be allowed.
These guys go to boards and put this crap up trying to get
freebee advertising and take advantage of the format.
All in favor say Aye Captin Morgan make him walk the plank and ban his arse from the ship!
It's a frigging $.50 cent chinese stamped foam piece thought up in a bar
if it's so great, and you're building a $100K chopper, anti up and pay the board the going rate for advertising. |

| Hell, I took a sharp punch out of my tool box, punched a couple of extra holes high in the neck just below the gas cap and now can top off easily that extra half gallon without sqeeze/release/sqeeze/release umpteen times. Spill a drop every now and then..it happens..wipe it up. |
