| i have a 07 electraglide standard my starter is trying to engage while bike is running and the clutch is pulled in. can not tell if it is doing it while bike is running and in gear. when starting, bike will start when you flip ign. button from off to run. never touching starter button. Please help |

| I'm guessing the starter solenoid is bad,or starter switch,do you have a schematic of the wireing,that would help find the problem.Good luck... |

Please help | When you hit the kill switch will it stop running? I assume its the kill switch you refer to as ign. button and not the ign switch on the dash. Seems like your starter circuit has a short somewhere. Did you have the switch housings off or loosen them recently? What was the last thing you did to the bike before this started to happen?Even like wash the bike with a pressure washer or use a hose to rince it and used a lot of water. I'm not all to familiar with Decker wiring and '07 is way new for me but I don't think starter circuits change much model to model or year to year.If you can give a little more info someone may be able to help you track down the problem. |

| Could be the relay,Start with the easy stuff. There's a short somewhere. |

| the reason i say this is because within about 10,000 mis. of buying my 06 both the "systems" & starter relays went bad  |
