Inverted forks

Apart from inverted forks looking good, do they actually improve handling?

Yes. Moving the weight of the larger fork tube sections up to the triple trees gets it away from the wheel & also makes for an upper section more resistant to flexing. Reducing "unsprung weight" (weight not supported by the suspension) is always good & having less of it @ the wheel makes the wheel/tire easier to control. End result is the suspension & front tire are more responsive to steering input & road imperfections.

Also your 1/4 mile and 60 foot times will improve from the lighter wallet in your back pocket
