Hypercharger air cleaner

I'm looking at buying a Kuryakyn hypercharger air cleaner,Can anyone give me any feedback on this type of air cleaner....

other than the fact that they look good, i've never much good about performance. have heard there are some people who know about setting them up. there are some past threads concerning these. where i in your situation i'd do some reseach on this.

Mike Roland is the guy that designed and tested those for Kuryakyn

They are pretty cool looking JMO and I had one a pro series in black, sold it a while back and should have kept it. Oh well

Anyway they outflow stock and will flow with the HP SE filters so they will let more air in.

[COLOR="Navy"]They work fine mounted properly including the vacuum line you need to splice in. I had one on a Sportster for a while but took it off because it stuck out farther than the SE setup & I'd put forward controls on that bike. If leg clearance isn't a problem & you like that style, the Hyper is fine & flows a lot more than the stock setup does.[/COLOR]

I have one on a Shovelhead. I love it and think they look cool. Yea, don't forget the vacume line, that make the butterflies open and close. Mine is on a S&S carb and I could tell the difference in pick up from the stock S&S air cleaner. You will definately have to re-jet because of all the extra air flow.

As far as looks go they look sweet, but if you ride in wet weather they will suck in rain and air.Water in the intake doesn't work well,nice days they do flow well.
