| hi im brent im new here but i need a little help if anyone has torque specs for 1973 ironhead 1000 sporty head and rocker covers
i would very much apreciate them

| Sry, don't know the specs, but with old iron you're gonna need the service manual on more than one occasion,shouldn't have one without the other.  |

im just trying to quick fix and unload the next guy can buy the manual its not what i really want i want something newer thats not right shift or kickstart my knees all fd up and electric start is too pricey for something im gonna get rid of |

| wrench it till it's tight, I've found that most of the time youll wrench it by just do'n it up to spec's, unless it's something functional that can't be overtight should be good. |

| Screws must be tighten evenly to abtain a tight joint.First turn them snug then tighten each one 1/8 or 1/4 turn at a time until all are securely tightened to 20 ft lbs...right from the book... |
