I can still remember when the dream first came out, so oldtimers hasn't really set in yet. I'd start searching the net for manuals and Honda restoration friendly chatrooms. Most of us are HD fiends, but welcome the change of pace. By the way, Welcome Aboard!

Being as most of you guys are harley riders, I work at a place part time that has one for sale, it's a 2000 fxr4, i rode it and it's sure nice, it's YELLOW, got 29,000
miles and it's loud, but after all, it's a harley. They want about $10,000 for it.

Hey Big Al, why don't you check out old bike barn. It specializes on japanese bike parts. They also have a forum. I used to have a 74 yamaha and brother still has a 74 honda 650 where he was able to get factory parts. If the boys at the parts department can't help you out, perhaps someone in the forums (like you are doing in this one) may be able to offer assistance. Good luck in your research. Of course, googling may be a bit easier as was previously suggested. Lots of luck!

Hey man, you already found the answer to your problem! Buy the FXR and we sure can answer your questions about the Harley! That's a damn good bike and you just can't find FXRs out there for a decent price any more. Sure wish they didn't stop making them!
