HELP somebody. I have lost the title to my 47 knuckle. I never got it transferd over because I needed to get it inspected (state to state B.S.) I don't know the dudes name I bought it from or remember where he lives. I bought the motor & tranny only and assembled the rest. I'm in Nebraska, I bought it in Iowa. Any ideas?

Get the VIN off your motor and see if you can run the title through the Iowa DMV. they should be able to tell you who it is titled to by their records which would be the old owner. ....There are also web sites that do title searches by VIN; I can't think of their name though. I have used them when looking at used vehicles. you pay $15 or so and enter a VIN and it gives you the history of the vehicle. just a couple thoughts; hope they help.
