| Baffels pulled out hi folks, my friend has bought a 2001 efi deuce with screaming eagle slip ons on it as the only mod. he pulled out the baffels for more sound. besides back pressure being lost, could he possibly do any damage to the bike??still has factory air filter and no change to the fuel system!!!! thanks a million, bill |

| It probably isnt going to hurt the engine but may loose some low end grunt, a little back pressure is you friend with these engines, gets rid of reversion, that little hesitation right after decel, and you may have more decel popping other than that he will be fine, Todd

| Duke, wouldn't it be running lean without the baffles? Maybe not since the air intake hasn't been changed? This question is more for my curiosity......Thx |

| The air intake would be the bottleneck here, if both had been upgraded then yes it would be running lean but you will be alright with just changing the exhaust. Todd

| Thanks Duke, I thought so but I wanted to make sure. It makes sense you can't get more out if you don't let more in..... |
