Question Placement of Power Receptical

Hi All,

I have recently traded in my old '98 Dyna for a 2008 ElectraGLide Ultra Classic. I wanted to put an auxillary power receptical on an was wondering where....It would be nice in the Flaring, but did not know if there is room. I do have a power plug-in on the side by the oil fill for a Battery Tender. The stealer-ship put it there. Ideas?

you should have a cig lighter on the left side of the fairing....

i have a 3 outlet power strip mounted in the forward left side of my tourpac to charge my phone, mp3 batteries, runs my airpump, charge others phones while riding. it has come in handy. got it for about 10 bucks at the local wally store.......

Thanks Chuck,

I do not have one already on the flaring. Maybe thats an extra. I just wanted to know where it would fit. Here is a picture.

The new bikes must be like the cages in that respect, cig lighters are a $300 option. They used to be on the right, close to that little gauge.

yes it was a easy job.....i ran a wire from the battery, through a fuse to the receptical. i mounted the receptical in a convient place in the tour pack, ran the wire in a loom along with the other wiring. i also used quick connect wire ends incase i wanted to remove the tourpac. i ran a new wire, with fuse, direct to the battery so it would be hot all the time. i also ran a ground wire with it........any questions, just ask. i can also post pics of the job if ya like........
