Good morning.

Guys I am looking for someone who might make a dash cover for a 2005 Electra Glide with a pocket. For my garage door remote. Any suggestion.

Or should I go with a small button somewhere?

Thank's
HG

I went thru the same thing with my Classic. I did not want the factory bag/bags hanging on the inside of my windshield. Most garage door companies sell keyring openers. I got my for around 30 bux and it snaps on my Harley wallet.

Hope this helps,

Garage door openers are 12V so get a spare and run a wire to a micro switch, you could leave it battery powered if you want, soldier the wires to the main board so it trips the open/close switch.

Then drill a small hole for a micro switch (radio shack) and it will have a jam nut to tighten the switch. Put it through the dash and velcro the opener inside.

Other thing is because the bike and the opener are 12v you can wire power direct to the harness and the opener by pass the battery.

In the recent Company wish book .. aka parts catalog .. I saw that you can hook up a programmable garage door opener that connects to your high beam switch. Turn your hight beam on and up the door goes. Forgot how much $$ it was. I'm sure the pocket on the console will be less pesos.

hd one is pricey but it works buddy got one for a gift, flash the high beam and your door works.

You can buy a spare opener that you program for about $30 and wire it in or hide it.
