| It is possible to go from an 80ci to an 88ci but the problem will be the price. In order to do the change you will have to take the motor out of the frame and then have the lower case machined out to allow the bigger piston to be able to complete the downward stroke. The piston actually goings into the lower case, that is why it will need to be machined. And with the machining it will cost a few dollars. I agree with hotroadking when he says to just bail out on the 80ci and buy an S&S or equavalent motor. Ride Safe, David.
