I got my back from the second shop today. They said that the inner clutch hub was worn and definitely needs replaced. The tranny main shaft could possibly be worked with, but it would depend on how loose a new inner hub was on it. If there was no play then obviously it would work, but if there was any slop then I would be in the same situation not to far down the road.
So the issue now is do I stick with BDL or redo the primary with a drive?
Replacing BDL parts now would be the cheap way to go, but are they reliable? Any one got comments about BDL???
What about the main shaft can it be replace alone or does it require a complete changing of gears in tranny??
