Is it possible to switched from 01 EFI to 04 EFI(HarleyDavidson EFI)

what I want to know is if I can change the EFI on my o1roadking with the EFI from a 04 EFI from a dyna?both enginesare 1450cc and do you know what all I would have to change to get this done,to have the better EFI system?the dyna was wrecked so I should have all the parts?

If I am not mistaken you;ll have to change the wiring harness to start with as all the plugs are different for the efi system the EFI itself should bolt right in

Dont know why it wouldn't work,

You would need at least:
ECM
Harness
Sensors,
new intake manifold
new injectors
new throttle body
lots of misc parts and gaskets.

The Harness would be best bought new from HD they are not that expensive and would have all the RK connectors in the correct position.

Other than that you could put the dyna harness on the frame and check to be sure you have all the stuff.

I could be wrong but I think there might be a difference in the fuel line fittings from the gas tanks. Check that out too.
