If your looking for a dot approved helmet, Go to amazon.com and type in harley davidson helmets in the search.I just purchase the Rallyrider half helmet this summer past. according to the read up its the smallest and lightest in the industry. 1 lb- 13oz. I find it comfy and light on the head. The helmet is not overly paded ,and it keeps your head cooler.

Here's a pic that's a similar style I have except mine has snaps on front for a visor.. I got mine at Toads Cycle in Dartmouth NS. I think I paid $225Cdn for it.
Advanced Carbon Composites DOT Helmets

Here's a link to Toads. It's an Akoury carbon fibre helmet DOT approved

Have a look at Toads custom bikes... The man was something else.

Where I live a good helmet to own would be one that has a face shield on it for the rain. I own a couple of 3/4 helmets that have face shields that can be flipped up. Own a full face HJC that can flip up but still my favorites when I can wear them are the half helmets.
