| Who here has installed the Powercommander III on an 05 Deluxe? I am looking for help and maybe a few pointers where you put everything? I can't get my seat back on no matter which way I try. Does anyone want to help me out?
A picture of your install would be great anything is better than nothing I have been trying for hours am I just not getting it?
Oh also Thanks to Direct Parts I got my big sucker, PC and some new pipes I got the sucker on no problem but the PC is fighting me everyway. I hope to get the pipes on shortly after the PC. |

| i had mine installed on the deluxe, did you lower your fuse box? i think you have to move your wiring harness also. the way they have the pc and the wires is cramped, but it fits. ill try to get a picture up,

| I installed mine with little trouble. I remember having to loosen the fuse box so that I could bend the tabs that allowed the fuses to ride lower in the housing (per directions). Did you change the molded plastic tray that came with the unit? This lowers the assembly deeper into the fender. Also, I turned mine 90 degrees from Tritipskip's picture so that I could run zip ties around the ECU to secure the PCIII. I've heard the velcro doesn't last that long.
The weather man told me that I will probably be able to ride this weekend so I'll take my seat off and snap some pics for you if you haven't already gotten it licked.
BTW, my drag pipes will be here Monday....pics will follow the install.

| Well I got the pipes on her and still fighting with the power commander. I bent the pins so the fuses can go lower and the thing still will not fit under my seat. I am going to walk away from it and see if it comes to me. Any additional photos would be great thanks again all. If I everfigure this out i'll post pictures of the finished project : )
I just think it is funny the thing I thought would be the easiest is the hardest... looks like rain again here so I should have time to figure this out. |

| I like those longshots, make sure you leave the baffles in or you'll drop off a lot of low end power, had a set and sold them but still like the way they look. |

| yes the seat of your pants experience is night and day. I can not thank all the people here and direct parts enough. I am very happy with the performance the new pipes, air cleaner and PCIII have given me thus far. |
