| check all the clamps and connections on the exhaust. if using aftermarket clamps, get rid of them and use harleys clamps. aftermarket clamps dont seal well for some reason. also torque to specks.....lots of folks let this slide and dont torque or use good clamps. they leak, allow air in and backfire. check the torque and gaskets on the exhaust manifold also......
