Back firing in the pipes

I have a 2006 Sportster 1200C. It has Hooker Troublemaker pipes, a stage one kit on my carb (increased both jets 2 sizes and installed a ez adjustment screw.) My problem is when i let off of the throttle i get an insaine amout of back firing in the pipes. I've messed with the adjustment screw and just cant seem to figure it out ... what do I do?

check all the clamps and connections on the exhaust. if using aftermarket clamps, get rid of them and use harleys clamps. aftermarket clamps dont seal well for some reason. also torque to specks.....lots of folks let this slide and dont torque or use good clamps. they leak, allow air in and backfire. check the torque and gaskets on the exhaust manifold also......
